Splinter Cell: Double Agent - Optimisation Guide

When playing the game from Steam you can encounter the following issues:

• The Steam version is outdated
• Graphical glitches
• Unable to set an HD widescreen resolution (1920x1080)
• Unable to change resolution in online mode
• Unskippable intros

To optimise the game, do the following:

1. Download and install Patch 1.01.
2. Download and install Patch 1.02a.
3. Download the Optimisation files (.zip file).
• This includes fixes that address all of the issues mentioned above.
• It will run the game in 1920x1080 resolution.
4. Extract it to a folder somewhere. There should be 2 folders: "SCDA-Offline" and "SCDA-Online".
5. In your Steam Game Library, find the game, right click it and click Properties.
6. Click the Local files tab.
7. Click the "Browse local files..." button to open up the game folder.
8. Move the folders you extracted into this folder and click Yes if prompted to overwrite files.
