Alice: Madness Returns - Skip Intros, Unlock Special Edition DLC for Free & Remove FPS Cap

Note: This applies to the Steam version of the game.

1. Go to your Documents folder.
2. From here navigate to this folder: My Games\Alice Madness Returns\AliceGame\Config
3. Open the file "AliceEngine.ini".
4. Apply the following fixes:
• Skip Intro Logos:
1. Find the section starting with "[FullScreenMovie]".
2. Change the following lines:
   StartupMovies=Intro_EA.bik
StartupMovies=Intro_SH.bik
StartupMovies=TechLogo_Short.bik
   to
   ;StartupMovies=Intro_EA.bik
;StartupMovies=Intro_SH.bik
;StartupMovies=TechLogo_Short.bik
• Remove FPS Cap (normally set to 31 FPS):
• Change the line:
  MaxSmoothedFrameRate=31
  to
  MaxSmoothedFrameRate=60
  or whatever the refresh rate of your monitor is.
• Unlock Special Edition Weapons & Dresses DLC for Free:
1. Find the section starting with "[AliceGame.AliceGameEngine]".
2. Change the line:
   GIsSpecialPCEdition=FALSE
   to
   GIsSpecialPCEdition=TRUE
5. Save and close the file.
