Star Wars: The Old Republic - Add as a Non-Steam game

This will let you play Star Wars: The Old Republic with the Steam overlay.
  1. Download the custom Steam launcher for SWTOR.
  2. Save it to the folder where the game is installed.
    It may be one of these locations:
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic
    • C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Star Wars - The Old Republic
    • C:\Program Files\Origin Games\Star Wars - The Old Republic
  3. In Steam, click Games (at the top), then "Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library".
  4. Click "Browse...".
  5. Browse to the game folder and select the "Star Wars - The Old Republic" file.
  6. Click "Add Selected Programs".

    Thanks! This worked for me in Windows 8.1 x64! Finally I was almost going to revert to Windows 7 x64 again.
